Aerial: A spider's Tale
My Image My Image

Aerial, a young, orb weaver spider, is the "runt" of Spinnerella's spiderlings. He suffers rejection and ridicule from the residents of Spiderville because of his size and inability to do the sorts of things the other spiders do instinctively. When he runs away, Aerial learns how to rise above his limitations in a most unlikely place.

"With a smart combination of storytelling and science, Nancy E. Rewalt 'spins' a charming spider tale that teaches children about overcoming disabilities, using determination to learn and grow, and the importance of love and loyalty. Darren Cranford's bold and colorful illustrations bring the characters alive, helping create a book that will inspire readers to see life's possibilities and to believe that miracles really happen."

Aerial: Meets Farmer Fedamore
My Image My Image

Aerial Meets Farmer Fedamore is a story patterned after "David and Goliath" and "The Good Samaritan" of the Bible. Aerial has learned to read and use computers. It is because of his tech skills that he is able to thwart the plans of Gravier Engorgio, a real estate mogul, from taking over the Fedamore Farm where Spiderville is located. This does not happen because Aerial saves the day!

"Aerial Meets Farmer Fedamore is Nancy's third book in her series of the adventures of a very clever spider, Aerial. Nancy has combined fiction with current environmental issues in this interesting tale that illustrates how caring individuals can make a difference in the local community. Through Aerial's leadership and hard work, he is able to fight evil with ingenuity and modern technology. This story has a powerful ending when Aerial saves the day."
Gordon Fuerstenau, Richmond Township local politician and farmer of Michigan
